Kamienica Theatre in Warsaw

Project type:

The Kamienica Theatre is an exceptional institution, named after a type of pre-war tenement house typical of old Warsaw. The theatre itself is housed in a 1910 tenement house. Founders Emilian Kaminski and his wife Justyna Sienczyllo want to realize a vision of "social theatre", a place where the audience can mingle with the actors after the show at the theatre's cafe. The repertoire of the Theatre is inspired by old Warsaw traditions, while it also remains modern and comedy-based.

The Theater takes up a total area of 1800 square meters and houses three stages: Officine (for an audience of 350), Ground Floor (130) and Warsza Cellar (80). The latter is a cabaret stage, where shows can be enjoyed at tables with a glass of wine.

The Theater officially opened on March 27th 2009.

In 2009 and 2010 LTT delivered complete lighting stock for the Kamienica Theatre. It is comprised from dimmers, control system based on Compulite Dlite console, and various types of stage lights, both classic and moving heads.

There was also a supply of Martin MAC 301 Wash moving heads.
